Oswego Grill was founded by David & Christie Burnett and Bud & Kathy Gabriel. David has worked in the Portland area restaurant market since 1983. He spent 24 years with Pacific Coast Restaurants working for industry leaders like Bob Farrell, Al Fleenor, Robert MacLellan, and Wes Curl. Bob Farrell also owned Farrell's Ice Cream Parlors before joining Pacific Coast Restaurants. Bob Farrell's "Guest Service Philosophy - Give 'Em the Pickle" is part of the core foundation of Oswego Grill. During David's 24 years with Pacific Coast Restaurants, he led some of Portland's most successful restaurants.
David and Christie married in 1979 and have four children. Having a dream to open their own restaurant, David and Christie joined forces with Bud and Kathy Gabriel, who were instrumental in making that dream come true. Bud and Kathy Gabriel have built several successful businesses in the Northwest over the past 32 years. Their wealth of knowledge and expertise as successful business owners and operators has been invaluable to the success of Oswego Grill. Bud and Kathy were also married in 1979 and have two children.
Together they opened their first Restaurant, Oswego Grill, in Lake Oswego on March 10, 2009. It was such a success, that they were blessed to open another Oswego Grill in Wilsonville on August 16, 2011. The company always made sure that their guests are the top priority, being taken care of in any way possible. We want to “Wow” the guest! This philosophy and all these loyal patrons, have made it possible for us to grow. On April 14, 2015 Copper River Restaurant and Bar opened in Hillsboro. The third restaurant of the Crossroads Restaurant Group, Inc. team. Featuring 52 craft beers on tap, scratch made food and a fun atmosphere, Copper River has quickly become a favorite in the community.
